To provide people living with intellectual and physical disabilities access to artistic endeavours including: painting, ceramics, collage, printmaking, sculpture, mural making group projects using inspiration from the environment, Aboriginal Art, architecture, Modern Art, Abstract Art, as a few examples. All art materials are supplied by the program. 

To promote psychological and emotional well-being in our community, to build resilience and enable social inclusivity through the creative and expressive arts, with positive social engagement and mental health outcomes and to create cultural change by promoting trauma-informed practice within organisations and with individuals to build capacity in community service providers.

The 'Legacy Art Project' offers elderly people at risk of social isolation the opportunity to participate in an art project resulting in a unique piece of art and audio recording of their life story. The project will connect people and reduce social isolation, help people discover the value of their life story, improve emotional well-being and promote community conversation about life, death and dying.

The Homeless Outreach Support program reduces the incidences of homelessness on the Northern Beaches, provides links to services to access support in finding accommodation and health care, and provide food and basic items such as sleeping bags. 

To encourage seniors to explore and use digital devices to assist in personal health, wellbeing, social inclusion and home automation. Funding will provide training in the use of digital devices, maintain state of the art and up to date devices, increase the understanding and benefits of using internet services, improve communication with organisations, simplify activities through digital automation and introduce intergenerational communication as part of the learning process.

The Dance Health Alliance will run therapeutic dance classes for people living with Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson’s and MS in the Northern Beaches.

This project targets the key elements of remaining active, safe and socially connected. Easylink’s program will provide a high quality program for older people with the aim of maximising their independence at home. With a focus on wellness and reablement, the six-week program will enhance their wellbeing and quality of life through low impact exercise and exposure to new experiences..

Art and Music - to increase awareness and inclusiveness at Eramboo Artist Environment in the Northern Beaches region by conducting a pilot project combining music and visual arts to attract new artists, audiences and participants to our artist run initiative.

Social Activities and Community Engagement Program for People with Disability.

To run photography and film making workshops with students at the Beach School. .

This project aims to open two new Cooking Sessions on the Northern Beaches, one at the Ted Blackwood Centre in July 2019 and the second in the Curl Curl Youth & Community Centre (CCYCC) in February 2020. The project seeks to recruit 10 new members for Ted Blackwood and 8 for the CCYCC Cooking Session; recruit a Cooking Instructor and Assistant Instructor to each kitchen; establish and operate at least 2 cooking sessions in each venue; and ensure attendees enjoy their experience, learn basic skills and meet new mates.

The La Crème Creative Residency Program will offer a studio residency to disadvantaged artists from the local community needing assistance, support and the opportunity to build their artistic career. The program will run for 3 months, offering the opportunity to 4 artists per year. The selected artists will be given a studio for the duration and the opportunity to exhibit in the new exhibition space that will be developed in support of this project. The local community will be invited to follow the journey of these artists and to engage with the artists by attending the final exhibitions.

To train Lifeline counsellors in ‘Seasons for Growth’, an innovative grief and loss education program. The Lifeline counsellors will then facilitate the programs in the local community to help communities that have been impacted by suicide, bereavement and grief. It aims to strengthen the social and emotional wellbeing of adults and assist parents to support their children through their own grief process..

To assist people in the Northern Beaches to learn to read and write English through a free individualised program using local trained volunteers. .

To inform the public of the issue of plastics and other materials found on the beach and in the ocean.

To increase refrigeration capacity to enhance and increase the product range available to our customers and members. The MFC is not-for-profit and provides the local community with the opportunity to shop for high quality, zero waste and organic foods and groceries. .

To train Open Up volunteers in Mental Health First Aid and facilitation skills. Open Up is a free weekly gathering where community members can come to listen and talk openly with one another in a safe peer-to-peer environment, fostering a philosophy based on research showing that ‘peer support’ systems of preventative care are beneficial in the recovery and prevention of various mental health disorders.

Peninsula Community Garden Sustainability Project to increase membership, promote composting facilities, improve weed and pest control and aesthetic appeal of the garden to residents..

To provide disadvantaged and needy children of the Northern Beaches and adjacent areas with quality toys for fun and educational purposes. To provide meaningful work and a social life for an ageing population.

Youth Frontiers is an in-person community led mentoring program for adolescents displaying early signs of being at risk of disengaging from education for 28 youth in the Northern Beaches. Adults from the local community receive 12 hours of mentor training to empower them with skills and knowledge to empower each adolescent across 22 weeks to grow in confidence, resilience, hope and goal setting.

The Krank’n Studio at Youth Reach is a recording studio that provides young people with the space and equipment in order to provide a creative environment for young people to create original music, develop performance styles, and learn how to use recording equipment and work with mentors in the music industry.
