The ordinary meetings of the Northern Beaches Council are held on the third Tuesday of each month. Meetings are held from 6.30pm in the Council Chambers at 7 Civic Parade, Dee Why 2099.
An agenda will be available before each meeting and the minutes of the meeting will be available on this website.

Note: since the adoption of this Code of Meeting Practice, the 2025 Model Code of Meeting Practice has been disallowed by the NSW Parliament. The current prescribed Model Code of Meeting Practice is the 2021 Model Code of Meeting Practice.
As a result, any provisions contained in Council's Code of Meeting Practice that are inconsistent with the mandatory provisions of the 2021 Model Code of Meeting Practice are no longer permissible. To respond to these changes outside its control, Council has placed a new code of meeting practice on public exhibition which incorporates the 2021 Model Code of Meeting Practice.
Accordingly, until Council's exhibited code has been adopted, it is operating under its current code, subject to any mandatory overriding 2021 Model Code of Meeting Practice clauses applying.
A public forum and community engagement forum will be conducted between 5pm and 6pm prior to each ordinary meeting of the Council for the purpose of hearing oral submissions from members of the public on mayoral minutes, reports to Council and notices of motion to be considered at the meeting.
