Opioid Treatment Program - Northern Beaches - 9388 5111
OTP services provide dosing (Methadone and Buprenorphine), support and case management to people with opiate dependence. The program provides information, education and counselling on alcohol and drugs, screening for blood borne viruses, and psychiatric assessments. The service works closely with Community Pharmacists to support the management of these clients in the community.
Referral: Self referrals, families, friends and General Practitioners, medical and nursing staff and health workers.

Northern Beaches Drug & Alcohol Community Counselling Service - 9388 5333
The Drug and Alcohol Community Centre teams provide assessment, early intervention, ongoing treatment, and prevention of drug and alcohol and gambling problems. Services are also provided to friends and family of clients with substance use problems.
Referral: Self-referrals, families, friends, General Practitioners, medical, nursing and health staff.

Northern Sydney LHD – Detoxification Unit – Herbert St Clinic - 9463 2533
A 24/7 inpatient unit at Royal North Shore Hospital. The unit provides medically supervised withdrawal management from alcohol and drugs along with an education/therapeutic program which includes groups and case management. Provides comprehensive medical and psychiatric assessment and aftercare planning.

SDECC is a non-government alcohol and other drugs counselling service. Specialises in supporting young people, aged 12 – 25 years, to minimise the harms associated with their problematic alcohol and/or drug use and any associated mental health issues. All clinical services are confidential, free and no medicare card is required.

Odyssey House offers community services as well as residential services and the Magistrates Early Referral Into Treatment (MERIT) program. Community services include alcohol and other drug counselling, mental health services as well as family and parent support programs in locations across Sydney. Kedesh Rehabilitation Services (KRS) is a non-government, non-profit organisation. Residential and outpatient programs are designed to address the psychological aspects of addiction and are based on the principles of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). Treatment involves individual counselling, case management, psycho-educational and therapeutic groups and activities.

SMART Recovery
SMART recovery is a voluntary self-help group to assist people in recovery from alcohol, drug use and other addictive behaviours. SMART recovery uses Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Principles (CBT) to help teach practical skills to assist people achieve their recovery goals. Kedesh run two SMART Recovery meetings that are open to the community.
