Council is taking measured precautions to keep our staff and community safe. We appreciate this is a difficult time for our community. In line with Government advice, our burial services will continue but they are limited to 10 people until further notice. This includes the funeral director and cemetery staff. While the Mona Vale Cemetery offices are temporarily closed, our client services staff are continuing to meet families by appointment only in the grounds of the cemetery. We request that only one family member attend, to adhere to the social distancing requirements.

Currently, we can assist with grave selection for upcoming burials or memorial positions for ashes, however, advance purchases or pre-need selections are not available at this time. We thank you for your understanding.

Our staff can assist you over the phone or via email, to arrange memorial plaques for loved ones. Any purchase of services and/or products will be made electronically or via mail. Please call our office on 8495 6127, or email cemeteries@northernbeaches.nsw.gov.au. We are here to assist you.

Northern Beaches Council manages Manly and Mona Vale Cemeteries. Mona Vale Cemetery has burial sites and ashes memorials available while the historic Manly Cemetery offers memorial sites only. In-ground burials at Manly Cemetery still occur in plots that were reserved some years ago.
