The Arts and Creativity grants program, now in its second year, continues to realise the vision of the Arts and Creativity strategy, Connected through Creativity 2029. The grants provide vital support for the arts sector, ensuring a vibrant, connected and engaged community. 

The grants program addresses key community priorities identified in the Strategy, and delivers on the three strategic outcomes to achieve:

  • Inspiring Places & Spaces
  • Innovative & Creative Industries
  • Engaged Community

Applications from eligible individuals and organisations were required to address the program objectives and meet the following assessment criteria:

  1. Rationale and Impact 
  2. Excellence and Innovation 
  3. Connection and Collaboration 
  4. Viability 


Awarded 2021 Arts and Creativity grants 

Following the assessment of the one hundred and forty-five (145) applications the Panel recommended twenty (20) projects for grant funding of $96,700.00.
Of those 20 applications recommended for funding, 5 projects will receive the full amount requested and 15 will receive partial funding.

The 2021 Arts and Creativity grants program was presented at the Council meeting on Tuesday 26 October 2021.
