The Arts and Creativity grants program, now in its second year, continues to realise the vision of the Arts and Creativity strategy, Connected through Creativity 2029. The grants provide vital support for the arts sector, ensuring a vibrant, connected and engaged community. 

The grants program addresses key community priorities identified in the Strategy, and delivers on the three strategic outcomes to achieve:

  • Inspiring Places & Spaces
  • Innovative & Creative Industries
  • Engaged Community

Applications from eligible individuals and organisations were required to address the program objectives and meet the following assessment criteria:

  1. Rationale and Impact 
  2. Excellence and Innovation 
  3. Connection and Collaboration 
  4. Viability 

Awarded 2022 Arts and Creativity grants 

Following the assessment of the fifty-two (52) applications the Panel recommended sixteen (16) projects for grant funding of $84,441.40. Of those 16 applications recommended for funding, 15 projects will receive the full amount requested and 1 will receive partial funding.

The 2022 Arts and Creativity grants program was endorsed by Council at the meeting on Tuesday 18 October 2022.
