We want to hear more about all the wonderful Neighbourhood initiatives, events, activities, groups etc. that help our community to be more socially connected. Tell us about your Neighbourhood initiative with the chance to win a $100 voucher at Glen Street Theatre. De-identified answers from this competition will be used to create inspirational messaging for us all to feel motivated to build stronger connections with neighbours and community.

The competition will be open from Sunday 31 March – Sunday 28 April 2024.

Terms and conditions
  1. (1) The promoter is Northern Beaches Council. 1 Belgrave Street, Manly 2095. Telephone: 9976 1500  ABN: 57 284 295 198
  2. (2) The starting date of the promotion is from Sunday, 31 March 2024. The closing date for entries is midnight on Sunday, 14 April 2024.
  3. (3)Entries will be collected online via the Northern Beaches Council website from Sunday 31 March 2024 – Sunday 14 April 2024.
  4. (4) All entries must be real people.
  5. (5) Each person may only enter the competition once.
  6. (6) Entrants must be at least 18 years old to win.
  7. (7) The entrants will be reviewed, and winners selected by Council staff from all valid entrants at Northern Beaches Council, Community Development Office 1 Belgrave Street, Manly 2095 between Monday 15 April and Friday 19 April.
  8. (8) The winners will be contacted by telephone and/or email. 
  9. (9) If the winners cannot be contacted within 96 hours of the selection, another winner may be chosen. 
  10. (10) The prize is a voucher for Glen Street Theatre. Estimated Retail Value $100.
  11. (11) Northern Beaches Council will not replace any lost or stolen vouchers. Vouchers are the responsibility of the recipient once the prize has been awarded.
  12. (12) Northern Beaches Council employees and their families are not permitted to enter the competition.
  13. (13) Northern Beaches Council reserve the right to exert full decision-making powers and any decision they make is final. Unless requested otherwise, Northern Beaches Council reserves the right to publicly publish the names of prize winners for the purposes of promoting this competition, It Takes A Village – 'Your Neighbourhood Initiative', now and in perpetuity.
