
MABC Swim School is proudly partnered with Royal Life Saving Swim and Survive program which provides a comprehensive swimming and water safety initiative to increase the swimming and water safety skills to prevent drowning and increase participation in safe aquatic activities. Most importantly we ensure the essential components of personal survival and water safety skills are provided, in addition to a process of developing strong and effective swimming technique.

Children’s swimming lessons costs
One lesson per week $20.60 - debited fortnightly ($41.20 per fortnight) from a selected bank account.

Parent and Child Water Familiarisation Classes (Wonder Award)
Our 30 minute water familiarisation program has three age based levels from 6 to 36 months. This class offers an introduction to water safety and learn to swim aspects. Jump in the pool with your little one as they learn to go underwater, float, jump, turn and hold.
Classes are held:
- Monday to Friday: 9am - 12pm
- Saturday: 7.30am - 11.30am
Preschool Learn to Swim (Courage Award)
A program with five levels that builds water confidence for preschool aged children 3-5 years. Focusing on water safety skills including climbing out of the pool, resurfacing and floating, paddling and working towards development of freestyle and backstroke.
Classes are held:
- Monday to Friday: 9am - 12pm
- Saturday: 7.30am - 1.30pm
Learn to Swim and Stroke Development (Active Award)
A swimming and water safety program with seven levels for school-aged children 5+ years. Providing a balance of survival skills, development and correction of strokes teaching participants to increase their swimming strength and confidence.
Classes are held:
- Monday to Friday: 3.30 - 7pm
- Saturday: 7.30am - 1pm
Swim Stars
Swim Stars is a program for children with special needs. The classes build muscle strength and physical endurance, flexibility, self-control and safety. You can choose from either group or private lessons. We take a maximum of three students in our Swim Stars group lessons. Duration: 30 minutes
Classes are held:
- Monday to Friday: 12 - 3pm and after 6.30pm
- Saturday: 12:30 - 4.30pm
Minis
This is the entry level of our squad program and suits swimmers who have completed Active Award levels and transitioning to the squads program. Assessments are required to join.
The sessions focus on development of all four strokes, introduction of basic training techniques, learning how to dive from the blocks, correct turns and use of the pace clock.
Certain swimming times and number of sessions are to be met to be in this squad.
Session time varies throughout the week between:
- Weekdays: 3.30 - 7pm
- Saturdays: 7.30am - 1pm
​Unable to make a lesson?
If you’re unable to turn up to your lesson, notify us at least 30 minutes prior and we will issue you with a family swim/practice pass for the lesson missed.
You receive six family practice passes each calendar year, they will be added to your student card and are valid for use up until 31 December each year. To redeem all you need to do is present your student card to our friendly reception staff.
Going away?
Take advantage of our four suspension weeks each calendar year and suspend your regular class if you’re going away. You must give 14 days’ notice and your lesson will be charged at $5 rather than the full price.
