Northern Beaches Council (Council) is offering a six-month non-residential artist residency at Eramboo Artist Environment (Eramboo) in 2026. This residency provides a unique experience for a creative resident (Resident) to research, experiment, engage with community and develop new work.

The Resident is provided a payment of $3,000.00 for project delivery to produce the three key outcomes:

  1. community engagement – share their learnings/work with local audiences
  2. mentorship – could include delivering a masterclass, series of workshops, or one-to-one mentoring of a local Northern Beaches based artist
  3. public outcome – could include an exhibition, performance, or temporary public work

Applications are open from 10am, Wed 15 Oct 2025, applications close 3pm, Fri 14 Nov 2025.

Visiting Eramboo

Eramboo Artist Environment is progressing to the fore of contemporary artistic production. Eramboo offers affordable non- residential and residential studios, and an exhibition space to emerging and established creative practitioners.

Accessibility

The Residents studio at Eramboo is wheelchair accessible. There are accessible bathrooms on site. All bathrooms are in a separate building to the artist studios. 

Service animals are welcome at Eramboo. Please note that due to the proximity to the National Park, pets that are not service animals are discouraged.
