Northern Beaches Seniors Directory
Our Seniors Directory 2018 - 2020 provides useful information about local services, activities and housing available for our older residents. It includes details on support services and groups, health services, advocacy, complaints, financial and legal information and housing.
The directory is available in hard copy from any of our customer service centres, libraries and community centres. They are also distributed to retirement villages, medical centres and senior groups and service provides. The Northern Beaches offers its seniors a diverse range of educational and volunteer opportunities, clubs and social activities to help keep you active, engaged, connecting with your community and getting the most out of life!
Education and leisure
There are so many opportunities on the Northern Beaches to stimulate the mind, challenge your opinions and enjoy the good company of like minded people. Activities include art and craft, cards and chess, computing, history, photography and volunteering. Some of these include:

Fitness and exercise
There’s nothing like getting active and feeling fit to get the most out of life. Take to the water with aqua fitness, enjoy the competition with bowls, enjoy the gentle sport of croquet, discover the fun of Lifeball, join a walking group, or throw caution to the winds and express yourself with dance.

Social clubs and outings
It’s so important we spend time socialising with others, and connecting with our community. Undoubtedly meeting up with kin and good friends, getting out and about to luncheon clubs and social outings is time well spent. You may consider joining a service club for the company, stimulation and involvement with charity work including:
