The Northern Beaches Dementia Alliance invites you to morning tea for an informative chat about dementia at Seaforth Village Community Centre.

Members of the Alliance will share useful resources to help you understand dementia, what activities are available for both carers and people living with dementia, future care needs and much more.

Come along to get the conversations going.

  • Presentation - About dementia, prevention and local supports. 
    Presented by Samantha Humphreys, Dementia Consultant with Proveda. Samantha has over 15 years of experience supporting people living with dementia and is a member of the Dementia Alliance.
  • A Q&A with Dementia Alliance members – your chance to hear from local people with lived experience of dementia.
  • A fun “music memory lane” quiz
  • Light morning tea.

The Northern Beaches Dementia Alliance is a group of local people and organisations striving to make the Northern Beaches more Dementia-Friendly. 

Alliance partners include Sydney North Health Network, Proveda, Just Better Care Northern Beaches & Northern Suburbs, and Northern Beaches Council.

The Training Room is located within Seaforth Village Community Centre, next to Bupa Aged Care. Entry is via the main corridor next to the Grassroots Café. You will see the Training Room as you walk towards the courtyard.

Parking: Is available on Kempbridge Ave, including one accessible parking space.

More parking is available over the road in the car park on the corner of Ross Street and Frenchs Forest Road.

More on-street parking is available in surrounding streets eg. Hope Street.

Public transport: 230m to bus stop (141, 144, 145, 150) Sydney Rd after Kempbridge Ave, Seaforth.
