My name is Wanda and I run Bright Morning FDC in Newport.

I have been in the childcare industry for over 10 years.  I have worked in various Long Day Care Services across the Northern Beaches. My aim is to provide a loving, safe and secure nurturing home environment for children to learn and develop their emerging skills. 

About my FDC name - my mum is my inspiration. She is a retired Montessori trained teacher who owned and ran a kindergarten of 100 plus children in Dubai - UAE for 20+ years. It was called Bright Morning Nursery. I aim to continue my mum's dedication and passion for the education of young children by passing on the values of love and nurture through play and individualised attention.

I provide the children with a range of experiences based on their interests with having fun being the key to a lifelong love of learning. We even do gardening and yoga! I believe FDC provides a wonderful small and secure environment where I can support children to develop confidence, independence, social skills and express their ideas and feelings.
