Northern Beaches Council Vacation Care has it all! Catering for school children between 5 and 12 years old, our Vacation Care runs Monday – Friday from 7.30am – 6pm during school holidays and offers exciting excursions, discos, craft and sports days with a difference.
We offer several locations and we give extra support to children with special needs so they can join in the fun.
Check the Activity Brochure for details on the daily activities and everything you need to know about Vacation Care for the next school holidays.
With all the activities on offer, you will find it’s great value at $69 per day.
New Booking Process - BookMe!
As from the Autumn 2019 school holidays, Vacation Care bookings are made using the online system BookMe. No more paper forms, our service is completely online!
View the step-by-step guide for online booking help.
Bookings open 7am, Monday 25 March
Step 1 - Registration
Before booking Vacation Care, you’ll need to register your child or children by filling out an enrolment form. Register for Vacation Care by clicking the Enrol button to open the form.
If you wish to add a new sibling, follow the steps above and we will link the new child to your existing family record.
If you’ve already registered your child or children or used Vacation Care before, you’ll have received a Logon id and password to HubWorks. You will need your login details in order to access BookMe. Remember to keep your enrolment information up-to-date.
Step 2 - Booking - BookMe
Once registered, book your Vacation Care at the most convenient centre for your family using BookMe (available 3 weeks before each school holidays).
Please select carefully as there are NO cancellations once your booking is processed.
Please review our Booking Terms and Conditions for important information regarding booking process, confirmations, fees, charges and absences.
Payments - iPay
Part of the booking process in BookMe requires a 10% deposit to be paid at time of booking. This payment is processed via iPay and families have the option of either credit card or EFT.
Outstanding balances are processed after the school holidays when we have received all the subsidy information from Centrelink.
Children With Additional Needs
Our Vacation Care Programs are additional needs and disability friendly. However, before enrolment we do require detailed information about your child's individual needs. If your child has high support needs, additional support may be accessed via the Federal Government's Inclusion Support Subsidy (ISS). The application process can take some time as we consult with schools and complete an assessment to determine if your child's needs will be met at Vacation Care.
Contact our Vacation Care Services Co-ordinator on 9942 2576 as early as possible to ensure that your child can access all aspects of the program.
