Thursday, 13 June 2024 - 10:30 am to 12:30 pm

Discover the wonder of ‘waste’ paper couture with Northern Beaches-based artist and designer, Jo Neville. Jo will demonstrate a range of simple crafting techniques and guide you in creating your own exquisite paper native banksia using assorted ‘waste’ paper.

Sustainability is important to Jo. She specialises in paper native blooms inspired by the flora found on Sydney's northern beaches. For this workshop she has gathered a range of re-purposed and 'waste' paper including old books, maps, old pianola rolls, newspaper and cardboard packaging. The workshop will encourage you to start looking at the paper we all have in our homes as a material with the potential to be transformed into something of beauty.

All materials will be provided.

Please bring your own refreshments and enthusiasm!
