COVID-19 saw 2020 Manly Jazz move into the online space.

35 bands recorded performances were streamed on Council's Youtube Channel and Facebook from 3-5 October.

Social distancing restrictions did not faze jazz fans who tuned in online for over 6,000 views and 520-plus hours watching time.

Musical Director Caroline Speight said the 43rd Manly Jazz Festival will be remembered as an historic event that built a sense of unity that was evident in the online environment over the weekend.

“Thank you to the artists who brought their hope, joy and energy to bring Manly Jazz Online to life.”
