Come join Sharing Threads, a series of five workshops hosted on the Northern Beaches, celebrating the value of craft for the makers and those of us who value the skill, beauty and joy that handcrafted objects bring to our lives.
Sharing Threads is part of Sydney Craft Week, which runs 6 - 15 October 2023. Marking its 7th year, it is the only festival in Sydney dedicated to making by hand. Led by the Australian Design Centre (ADC) and supported by an advisory group of craft sector professionals, Sydney Craft Week brings together contemporary crafts organisations and individuals.
This year Sydney Craft Week events focus on 'Time', reflecting on the theme through craft and art, in terms of focus and materiality.
