We are thrilled to have Dr Des Graham, Geriatrician BMed MD FRACP from the award-winning Brellah Medical Centre, providing valuable insights and information about his profession and addressing why and when to get a geriatrician involved in your healthcare.
A geriatrician is a specialist doctor who cares for older adults. They diagnose and treat age-related medical conditions and most are experts at helping people who have multiple conditions.
To do this Geriatricians often work as part of a team of specialists providing geriatric care to older patients who have more than one age-related condition, such as memory loss and dementia, heart disease, incontinence, and stroke.
Dr Graham will share valuable (deidentified) insights from his experience, and there will be ample time put aside to answer your questions. You may also submit questions to belongclub@ccnb.com.au in advance.
