Meriton Square Dee Why will come alive on Saturday November 4, in an explosion of colour and music to celebrate the Indian Festival of Diwali.

Be a part of this day of celebration where the whole community is encouraged to come together and celebrate the rich diversity of our community. Enjoy traditional and modern Indian entertainment including live music, henna, children’s crafts, Bollywood dancers plus more.

Celebrations commence from 10am through to 3pm with entertainment for all the family throughout the day.

Bring a picnic or grab a bite to eat from the many local eateries. Enjoy the music and festivities!

11 – 11:30am Indian Arts & Crafts Workshop: Get involved and celebrate Diwali, learn how to make traditional indian lanterns lanterns, paint your own Diyas and plus more
11:30 am – 12pm Bollywood Dancing Workshop: Watch the professionals dance and learn a few steps.
12 – 12:20pm Sitar by Ravi. Listen to traditional music played by Ravi on the Sitar
