ORRCA Whale Census

The ORRCA (Organisation for the Rescue and Research of Cetaceans) conducts an annual humpback whale census along the NSW coast. This census helps track the migration of whales, with participants along headlands counting whales as they migrate north. The census data is used to assess the health and size of the humpback whale population.
