Penalty Infringement Notices and Enquiries

Have you been issued with a Penalty Infringement Notice (PIN)?

If so, please do not contact Council (please refer to instructions on the back of your penalty notice).

All infringement related enquiries must be directed to Revenue NSW.

Revenue NSW are responsible for the receipt and processing of PINs and administering the enforcement to collect unpaid PINs for Northern Beaches Council.

If you have received a PIN, you can pay it online or view your options on the Revenue NSW Website.

When a PIN has been issued, Council is unable to cancel it. This is to ensure Northern Beaches Council operates in a fair consistent and transparent manner.

If you have lost the PIN, contact Revenue NSW to request a replacement.

If you request a review, Revenue NSW will undertake this process on behalf of Northern Beaches Council.

Requesting a review

To request a review of a fine, request online or contact Revenue NSW directly.

When Revenue NSW receives your request for review, the processing of your PIN will be placed on hold while your request is being considered.

If you wish to have the matter heard in Court this information this information is also found on the website.

Please note Revenue NSW cannot conduct a review once you have elected to have the matter heard in court

It is important that you contact Revenue NSW before the expiry date of the PIN to avoid any potential additional enforcement action.

Reporting of parking fines issued

Northern Beaches Council provides the community with easy access to information on all parking fines that it issues.

Reports will generally be published quarterly as a PDF in this section.

These reports comply with the fines regulation directive from Revenue NSW and will be made available within 28 days of the end of the reporting period.
