To showcase the wonderful resources in our extensive eLibrary, we have been celebrating eWeek!

It has been an opportunity for us to show you just how much is accessible digitally with a library membership. If you have missed the information throughout the week, we have summarised it all here for you.

Here are five things you can learn during eWeek:

1. The features of Story Box Library

Story Box Library is a collection of the best stories read aloud by famous faces from Australia and New Zealand. There are many features in Story Box Library to assist children at all stages of their learning development as well as free activities to aid understanding of the stories. Find out everything you need to know in our eWeek news story.

2. How to borrow using your phone

The self-service borrowing feature through your library app allows you to borrow items using only your phone – all you need to do is tap and borrow! To see how it works and for further information about the library app, see our eWeek news story.

3. How Studiosity and LinkedIn Learning can help you

If you’re not sure what either of these resources are, we’re here to clear things up. Both Studiosity and LinkedIn Learning are online resources that can help you get ahead in your career. You can learn all about them by watching our eWeek video.

4. How to borrow eMagazines

Overdrive’s Libby app is now your one-stop shop for eMagazines, you can read them alongside your eBooks and eAudiobooks. Our eWeek news story covers the things to look out for when using Libby.

5. Why you should have a library membership

A Northern Beaches Library membership means free, 24/7 access to a world of eAudiobooks, eBooks, eMagazines, films, online tutorials, language courses, research databases and online activities for kids. Need we say more? You can easily become a member of our service by starting the process online
