Does it cost to join the library?
No, it is free to join.
Where is the library?
How many items can I borrow and for how long?
You can borrow up to 30 items and most items can be borrowed for three weeks. Some popular fiction titles are 10-day loans and various reference titles are 7-day loans.
Your items can be returned to any of our six branches.
Can I renew my items?
Renewals can be made online, through your library app, in branch or over the phone.
Our Read Now and Back in 10 (10-day loan) items cannot be renewed. Other items can be renewed once for a three week period from the renewal date, unless the title has been requested by another borrower.
What if I've forgotten my PIN?
What are the overdue fees?
An overdue fee for a single item is calculated at 30 cents each day the item is overdue. This will accumulate until the fee reaches $10.00. You will be unable to borrow, renew or place a hold on any item until your overdue fees are reduced to less than $10.00.
Fees can be paid by credit card or eftpos at any of our branches or online via your library account. Simply login to your account and follow the links to find and pay for your charges using a Mastercard or Visa credit or debit card.
What happens if I've lost or damaged an item?
If you think you may have lost an item, contact your branch as soon as possible in order to extend your loan, allowing time to find the item.
If an item can not be found, or is damaged, you will be required to pay the original cost of the item plus a $6 processing fee. Please contact your branch for further information.
Can I suggest an item for purchase?
Can I donate items to the library?
