24/7 Libraries are another step towards becoming accessible community hubs, reflecting our community’s changing lifestyle.

Being a 24/7 member enables access to the following services after hours: 

• Browse and borrow books, collect reservations and more
• Free Wi-Fi
• Public computers
• Study spaces, including Quiet Study Pods
• Print / copy / scan services
• Relaxed reading areas with comfy lounges

After-hours access is available to full Library members aged 16 years and over who have completed an onsite induction at each library location.

Manly Library 24/7 – Community Trial

The Manly Library 24/7 Community Trial has now paused.

More than 1,300 library members joined the trial and between June and November 2025 there were more than 19,000 after hours visits to the library.

Forestville Library 24/7

Located within the Forest Community Arts Centre, Forestville Library is spread across one floor. Accessible amenities are available inside the library.

A Quiet Study Pod can be booked by phoning Forestville Library during staffed hours on 8495 5025, or by using the sign-up sheet during unstaffed hours.

Quiet Nights

Forestville Library 24/7 members can enjoy space for independent study or reading every Tuesday evening from 5pm. Study groups are welcome to use the library space at all other times of the week.
