The Northern Beaches Library Exhibitions program offers local groups, schools and not‑for‑profit organisations the opportunity to exhibit free of charge across our six library branches.
We welcome exhibitions that highlight the stories, creativity and heritage of the Northern Beaches.

Selection criteria
Your submission will be reviewed by our Library Exhibitions team and assessed against the following criteria:
• Connection to the Northern Beaches: relevance to our local community.
• Suitability for all ages: appropriate for a general audience, including children.
• Safe and inclusive: aligns with our values of respect and accessibility for all.
• Alignment with Council values: content must not conflict with Council values, decisions, policies or statutory responsibilities.
We will notify you the outcome of your submission within 10 business days.

Exhibition spaces
Exhibition spaces are available at all six of our library branches: Dee Why, Forestville, Glen Street, Manly, Mona Vale and Warringah Mall.
We encourage you to visit the libraries to view the spaces in person and assess which location best suits your exhibition before submitting your application.
FAQs
Who is eligible to host an exhibition?
Local schools, community groups or nor for profit organisations on the Northern Beaches, or who have a connection to the area and community, are eligible to submit an expression of interest via our online form above.
When can I host an exhibition?
Exhibition expressions of interest will be assessed in line with our criteria, available exhibition spaces and preferred timelines.
From expression of interest there is a lead time of approximately 2-3 months before an installation date.
Duration of exhibitions are approximately 2 months.
Is it free to host an exhibition?
Northern Beaches Libraries will provide the exhibition space free of charge, as well as managing installation/de-installation and promotional support.
Can I host an exhibition launch?
If your exhibition is in the Creative Library at Manly, you are welcome to hire the space for exclusive use. For more information, please visit the Creative Library webpage.
