Northern Beaches Council presented Australia Day across the Northern Beaches.

Our official Australia Day Citizenship Ceremony was held at Glen Street Theatre. Thousands came along to enjoy BBQ Breakfasts, thong throwing, face painting, live entertainment at Dee Why, Narrabeen and Newport.

The Warringah Aquatic Centre and Manly Andrew 'Boy' Charlton Aquatic Centre hosted pool parties including a kids DJ, inflatable thong racing competitions, roving entertainment and plenty more!

Northern Beaches Council would like to thank all the volunteers for their crucial support to make these events happen for our community to enjoy. In 2019, volunteers from 35 of our local community groups helped to deliver the breakfasts and many activities across multiple event locations. Participating community groups will receive a donation.
