  • Child in swim school class

Warringah Aquatic Centre has swimming lessons for all ages and abilities. You can start your 18 month old with familiarisation classes or bring your older children to regular lessons at their swimming level. If you have a diver in the family, we’ve got that covered too.

Parent and Child Water Familiarisation Classes

These 30 minute classes are great for children over 18 months. Jump in with your child and we’ll introduce them to skills such as blowing bubbles, kicking legs and floating. Safety skills such as safe entry, floating and returning to the side of the pool will be introduced and reinforced.

All lessons include entry for the participant and accompanying spectators.

Assessments

Prior to either joining or returning to the swim school program, your child will undergo an assessment to determine their level. Please pay assessment fees at reception and then take your ticket to the swim program supervisor. If the classes at your child’s level are full we will put you on a waitlist.
