There are a number of horse trails in Ku-ring-gai Chase and Garigal National Parks, as well as numerous private horse arenas and other equestrian facilities.

Council manages four reserves in the area which provide a range of horse facilities including JJ Melbourne Hills, Rhoker, Kinka and Anembo.
