Bookings for stallholders

Those who secure a Youth Stall will have their fee refunded after attending (minus 50c booking fee).

Who can be a stall holder?
Northern Beaches residents only. This is not for businesses and commercial traders.
What can I bring for my stall?
A blanket, rug, suitcase, small table, a secured low clothes rack or container. A seat for your comfort. No marquees or balloons.
Is there any shade?
There is some shade under a tree and some shade cloth areas. For extra shade you can bring a beach umbrella with a base or a beach cabana but no marquee. You can’t secure the umbrella in the grass.
Hat and suntan lotion recommended.
What can I sell?
- Second hand items except for the odd item that was never used. No food.
- Electrical items must be tested by an electrician and display a current Australian Standard tagging.
- The sale of fur products is prohibited at this event as it is prohibited on Council land and at Council managed markets with the exemption of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people wishing to practise their culture in public and on community land.
How are the spaces allocated?
Spaces are 2 x 3m. When you arrive go straight to the Council marquee to be signed off. They will direct you to a suitable space. We can accommodate you if you wish to be next to a friend's or family’s stall.
What time should I get there to set up?
Arrive between 7.45 – 8.30am. Be ready by 9am and trade until 1pm.
Where can I park?
You can park in the open-air car park on Howard St, opposite the event site. This gives you a chance to bring your items over and check in. Once you have set up drive further down Howard St or the surrounding streets where you can park for at least 4 hours.
What happens if it’s raining or very windy?
If there is a major weather event or electrical storm Council may declare the event cancelled. You will be notified via email by 7am. You will be refunded your stall fee minus the 50c booking fee. Otherwise, the event will proceed.
Do I get a refund if I cancel my booking?
There are no refunds if you cancel nor can you transfer to another date. Try to find a someone who can take your spot instead.
How often is this market held?
The first Sunday of every month.
Are there special conditions for youth stall holders?
Youth stallholders aged 12-20 will have their fee refunded (minus 50c booking fee) if they secure a Youth stall and attend. Youth stalls are limited, book early.
Youth can also sell creative handmade items but no food.
Will I be contacted with more information before the event?
The week before the event you will be sent an email with more information.
Can I show up on the day without a booking?
You need to have registered to set up a stall.
