The EOI is currently open for submissions

We’re seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from interested organisations to partner with Council to manage and run community drop off events for preloved items.

To keep waste out of landfill, we’ve been working with charities such as the Australian Red Cross and St Vincent De Paul to run annual Charity Clothing Drop-off Days.

To complement these events and to reduce other unwanted items going to landfill, we’re inviting interested parties to run community drop off events with us.

The collected items must be:

  • reused, repaired, shared, rented, resold or recycled after the collection.
  • not be currently collected by Council in their kerbside recycling bins.

Each event would be a one-day event, with residents dropping off specific unwanted household items at no charge.

Examples of possible items (but not limited to) are bicycles, timber, child car seats, polystyrene, baby goods, toys, manchester, bric-à-brac etc.
