Weeds are plants that grow in places where they don’t belong. Often they cause a problem to human health, agriculture and the environment.
A full list of plants that are considered weeds by the NSW Department of Primary Industries can be viewed at NSW WeedWise. Some of these plants are regulated with a general biosecurity duty to prevent, eliminate or minimise any biosecurity risk they may pose under the Biosecurity Act 2015.
Should you have any enquiries or would like to report a weed sighting in the Northern Beaches local government area, please contact email@example.com, or alternatively contact Council Customer Service on 1300 434 434 during normal business hours.
