We’ve recently upgraded the stormwater infrastructure at North Steyne, replacing the unsightly concrete culvert and pollution net device at the base of the North Steyne seawall with a new, underground Gross Pollutant Trap that’s well out of sight.

The project includes new underground concrete pits, pipework and a tideflex. New stainless-steel exclusion bars protect the stormwater opening on the sea wall and all paving, sandstone wall blocks and turf have been upgraded.

Now complete, the project has improved the stormwater quality discharging at Manly Beach, keeping the water cleaner and the beachfront looking better than ever.
