Northern Beaches Council aims to recognise and celebrate the outstanding contributions of local residents, community groups and events.
Each year Northern Beaches Council acknowledges special individuals and event organisers who make a difference in our community across several award categories.
Closes Wednesday 29 October 2025
Award winners will be announced in a ceremony to be held on Thursday 22 January 2026.

- Nominations open: Tuesday 2 September 2025
- Nominations close: Wednesday 29 October 2025
- Eligibility checks: 29 October – 5 November 2025
- Judging assessment Process: 5 November – 26 November 2025
- Successful / unsuccessful nominations are notified: By 10 December 2025
- 2026 Australia Day Awards Ceremony: Thursday 22 January 2026
