We are celebrating World Environment Day (5 June) with a week long program of events. This year's theme focuses on accelerating land restoration, drought resilience and desertification progress.

• Bushcare volunteers working with Council to conserve and rehabilitate publicly owned natural bushland. There are over 50 different Bushcare groups throughout the Northern Beaches working to restore natural areas and promote habitat for our native animals and insects. No experience is needed, we have activities to suit all levels of participation. Have a look at our Bushcare map to find a group that suits you.
