Bucketty’s is bringing their signature flair and craft brews back to The Corso, and will once again transform the space into a buzzing Jazz Garden. If you know, you know. If you don't, this is your year to find out.
Expect a weekend filled with roving jazz bands creating that unmistakable energy, alongside special live music sets with good times guaranteed.
Whether you’re a local or just here for the event, the Bucketty’s Jazz Garden is the place to grab a cold one, a bite to eat, soak up the music and experience the community spirit that makes Manly Jazz so special.

Bucketty's Jazz Garden gates open Friday 4 - 8pm, Saturday 11am - 8pm and Sunday 11am - 6.30pm.
What to expect in the Jazz Garden
- Bucketty's brews: The iconic Bucketty's van, a 90s Ford Econoline, will be onsite and pouring 5 fresh award-winning craft brews all weekend long. Perfect for those sunny spring days, served straight from the side of the van and straight into your hand.
- Food: Bucketty's Head Chef Marti will be behind the grill cooking up food from the garden throughout the weekend. On the menu is the Bucketty's Smash Burger, beef patty, cheese, pickles, onion, chipotle ketchup and mustard, served with piping hot special fries. Simple, satisfying and exactly what a festival weekend calls for.
- Live music: The Bucketty's Jazz Garden will feature incredible live music, played and performed by locals you know and love.
- Games: Add in sketch-and-draw stations, giant Jenga, Connect Four and a range of other activities, and you have got yourself a proper weekend.
Please note: dogs/pets are NOT permitted in the Bucketty's Jazz Garden. Assistance animals are allowed.
Music in the Garden
Upbeat Trio plus special guest Andrew Robertson
Friday 18 September, 4.45 - 7.30pm
The UpBeat Trio were James Valentine’s working band for several years, providing the backbone for James’ muscular saxophone playing and personal take on jazz and blues. At this year’s Manly Jazz, this classic organ trio will be joined by saxophonist Andrew Robertson and perform a dynamic tribute to James and the music that he loved.
Kid Hank and his Ockerstra - Roving
Friday 18 September, 4 - 7pm
Kid Hank and his Ockerstra bring the vibrancy of New Orleans to life. With toe-tapping beats and lively melodies, the Ockerstra transports listeners to the early 20th-century French Quarter.

Sax Summit - Roving

It’s SAX TO THE MAX! Sax Summit is one of Australia’s most original and dynamic acts. With 4 saxes and percussion, this high-energy, interactive show features bold, virtuosic takes on pop, rock, jazz and classical hits. Saturday 19 September, 6 - 8pm
With his signature bluesy rock style, Greg Nunan has been making waves in the Australian music scene with his band The General Jacksons. This Sydney trio has become a festival favourite across the country, bringing Nunan's soulful vocals and stellar guitar work to stages big and small. Nominated for 7 awards with the Sydney Blues Society Member Awards Nunan’s distinctive style draws inspiration from blues legends while forging his own musical path. With his own cocktail of stingin’ blues and rootsy rock, Nunan's masterful guitar work, powerful vocals and crafty songwriting have refined through years of extensive touring.

The Bucketty's Jazz Garden is in a prime location to hear the acts performing on the Beachfront stage. Friday night in the garden kicks off with a special performance and we'll have roving bands stopping by throughout the weekend to keep the tunes going.
