Arts and Creativity Grants Recipient 2024/25
LIZI Ceramics (artist Lizzie Teo) is opening her studio to the public for a special exhibition showcasing works created during her recent residency and study in Taiwan.
The exhibition offers a rare insight into Lizzie’s evolving ceramic practice, exploring new techniques and cultural influences drawn from her time in East Asia.
In addition to the exhibition, Lizzie will host an online webinar and two creative workshops, offering participants the opportunity to learn directly from her process and experience.
Webinar: The Art of Chinese Ceramic Painting
Join Lizzie for a free online talk, exploring the beauty and philosophy behind traditional Chinese ceramic painting.
Discover the stories behind Fa Hua Cai (ceramic cloisonné) and Qing Hua (blue-and-white porcelain), two ancient techniques that continue to inspire contemporary artists today.
The talk will include a short presentation and Q&A session where participants can ask questions about materials, process, and creative inspiration.

Community Workshop – Chinese Ceramic Cloisonné
This workshop introduces the traditional art of Fa Hua Cai, Chinese ceramic cloisonné. Learn how to outline raised enamel lines and paint cobalt underglaze on porcelain.
