We're excited to partner with Collaroy Vet, who host weekly dog adoption days to help dogs find a loving home.

Come along to meet adorable dogs that need a family and chat with Council about responsible pet ownership in the Northern Beaches.

The experienced Collaroy Vet team will be able to guide you through the adoption process and help match you with the right dog for you.

Council support on the day

On the day, Council staff will be available to:

• provide information about pet registration and microchipping
• answer questions about responsible pet ownership
• share tips on keeping your dog safe and happy at home and in the community
• offer advice about local dog parks, off-leash areas and regulations

We’re proud to support Collaroy Vet's initiatives that help reduce animal homelessness and promote responsible pet ownership across the Northern Beaches.

Thinking about adopting?

All dogs available for adoption through Collaroy Vet and their rescue partners are health checked, vaccinated and microchipped.

Adopting a rescue dog is a wonderful way to:

• give a dog a second chance
• support local animal welfare efforts
• welcome a loyal companion into your life

If you’re considering adoption, we recommend bringing identification and details about your home and lifestyle to help ensure the right match.

Supporting our local animal community

Collaroy Vet’s weekly adoption days play an important role in rehoming dogs in our region. Northern Beaches Council is pleased to partner with local organisations that make a real difference in the lives of animals and residents alike.
