Kimbriki Environmental Enterprises (Kimbriki) is owned by Northern Beaches Council (96%) and Mosman Council (4%).
Over years to come the Kimbriki facility will save ratepayers money and keep waste charges low, as well as delivering better environmental outcomes for everybody.
What Kimbriki does
Kimbriki’s vision is to rethink, reduce, re-use and recycle. It currently recycles over 80% of incoming waste much of which is recycled and sold on-site. Recycled products such as roadbase, aggregates, sand and garden products.
Check the list of items that can be taken to Kimbriki free of charge for recycling.
Kimbriki also promotes reuse through its Buy Back Centre, The HUB and offers educational programs at it's Eco House and Garden and The HUB.
The HUB has three resident not-for-profit organisations, Bikes4Life, Peninsula Senior Citizens Toy Repair Group and Boomerang Bags Northern Beaches. Each reduce waste to landfill through reuse, repair and recycling.
