Child restraint safety checks
Did you know that two out of three child car seats are not fitted or secured properly?
That can be a fatal mistake.
All children under 7 years old must use an approved restraint in the car.
Make sure your child is safe with a free inspection of your child car seats, harnesses and booster seats.
You can now register for a voucher to have your child seats harnesses and booster seats checked for safety.
Please note that all vouchers from this offer must be used by Saturday 1 June 2024 (inclusive).
The voucher covers $25 per seat for the safety check.
Note that any installations or adjustments needed will be at the cost of the vehicle owner at $25 each seat.
Council uses a local Transport for NSW approved and dedicated fitter with workshops at both Brookvale or Mona Vale.
This fitter operates under NSW Government Covid-19 Safety Plans.
