We know this is a challenging time and social distancing and self-isolation can have a negative impact on health and wellbeing. It can also make accessing food and medical supplies for some people difficult.

Our Hello Neighbour campaign is a great way you can connect and support others during this time. You can make a positive difference by:

  • Reaching out to say "hello".
  • A simple act of kindness.
  • Lending a helping hand.

Soon you will receive a copy of the Hello Neighbour card. Just fill in your details, nominate what you can help with and pop it in a neighbour’s mailbox or under their door.

If you haven’t got yours, or you want another copy, download a Hello Neighbour card.

We encourage everyone to reach out to their neighbours in a safe way and practice random acts of #viralkindness. Remember to always stay 1.5m away, not gather in groups, stay home if you’re sick and wash your hands regularly.

Viral Kindness is supported by Northern Beaches based group #MyStreetSupport that encourages neighbours to connect with each other via social media and offer comfort, support and social interaction. Check out their Facebook page.
