What does my entry ticket include?

You will receive entry to the event, a commemorative event wine glass as well as two (2) drink tokens.

Non-alcohol event tickets do not include a commemorative event wine glass or drink tokens.

What is a drink token and how do I purchase additional tokens?

A drink token is a (1) 60ml pour of your choice of wine. You may select to use two (2) drink tokens to receive a full 125ml glass of your choice of wine. Additional tokens are available to purchase from the event website.

Please note: Last drinks will be at 5.30pm.

What can I bring?

Photo ID, picnic rugs, point and shoot cameras, insect repellent, sun protection, umbrella or raincoat if rain is forecast, Eftpos card, credit card as well as a smart phone with entry tickets and tasting tokens.

What should I leave at home?

The following items will not be permitted to bring into the event:

  • drinks of any kind (sealed or empty water bottles excepted)
  • pets (other than assistance animals)
  • tents
  • eskies
  • alcohol or drugs
  • video or professional recording and photography equipment
  • drones
  • skateboards
  • rollerblades / rollershoes
  • frisbees
  • weapons (including pocket knives)
  • fireworks and anything else flammable, dangerous or dubious items
  • bad attitudes.

Please note: this is a cashless event and cash will not be accepted.

Can I bring my children?

Children 17 years and under are permitted with the purchase of a non-alcohol event entry ticket.  Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.

Weather

We will monitor the weather in the lead up to the event. In the event of extreme weather, we will advise people who have purchased tickets if the event will proceed. 

Accessibility

We welcome everyone at our event. If you have any accessibility or inclusion requirements in order to participate fully please let us know prior to attending the event. Please contact Madison Wyllie on 02 8495 6562.

What happens with any photos or videos that might be taken of me whilst I am at the event?

We may have a professional photographer and/or videographer at the event. If this is the case, there will be signs in the venue advising you of this. Photographs and video footage taken at the event may be used in future for promotional purposes.

Will there be bag checks at entry?

All bags are subject to safety and security search upon entry. Any prohibited items will be confiscated. People under 18 will not be served alcohol.

Will tickets be available at the gate?

Tickets are not available at the gate however they can be purchased online through our website the day of the event if not sold out prior.

Are there any pass outs once I am inside?

There will be no pass outs once inside the event. 

How can I make my purchases inside the event and what can I buy?

In line with COVID-19 safety standards, this is a cashless event. Drink token tickets can only be purchased via Moshtix ticketing platform. Sealed bottles of wine from the wineries, food and hampers are also available to buy onsite via Eftpos. Please note: Last drinks will be at 5.30pm. 

How can I get to the event?

Is it possible to get a refund?

This event is non-refundable. No change of mind will be permitted, unless for reasons stated below due to COVID-19. Refunds will only be offered to patrons if the event is cancelled due to extreme weather and/or force majeure. Please also refer to our COVID-19 FAQs.

Is this event COVID-SAFE?

Your safety is important to us! Northern Beaches Council is committed to COVID-Safety when delivering community events and will comply with the NSW Public Health Orders at the time. If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, please do not attend the event and get tested. 

What if the event gets cancelled due to COVID-19?

Any changes to NSW Health orders and restrictions that impact Palm Beach Wine Garden will be announced on the Northern Beaches Council event webpage, social media channels and ticketholder email.

We will do our best to reschedule the event. If we are unable to postpone, you will receive a full refund. 

If the event is cancelled due to COVID-19 all cancellation notifications will be announced on the Northern Beaches Council event webpage, social media channels and ticketholder email. 

What if I have undertaken a COVID-19 test?

A full refund will be issued where a COVID-19 test with a positive result within 7 days of Palm Beach Wine Garden is received and/ or if awaiting COVID-19 test results. You will require proof of testing and/ or results. Please contact our Events team events@northernbeaches.nsw.gov.au
