The Metal Space is a specialised silversmithing and jewellery-making studio dedicated to teaching traditional and contemporary metalworking skills while fostering a vibrant creative community. As part of this commitment to sharing craft knowledge and making metalworking accessible, we invite the public to experience the studio in action through a free, hands-on jewellery and silversmithing demonstration.

Watch teachers and students showcase a range of techniques, including transforming flat sheet metal into a bowl using only hammers and heat.

Visitors will have the opportunity to see specialised equipment up close, learn about the metalworking process, ask questions, and gain insight into the skills involved in jewellery and silversmithing practice.

Those interested can also try selected beginner-friendly techniques under guidance.

Whether you are curious about metalworking, considering a creative course, or simply looking to explore a unique craft, everyone is welcome to visit, observe, and participate.
