Leading our first masterclass in this series is artist, Euan Macleod. Join Euan for an intimate, 5-hour painting session as he shares his unique insights, knowledge, skills and distinct approach to capturing the figure in the environment.
“...for me the figure represents an intrusion on looking, the way we look at landscapes through the prism of our memories... so you’re looking at a place in terms of how you emotionally remember it...” Euan Macleod.
This one-day workshop will focus on the relationship between a figure and the environment it inhabits. Euan will provide a demonstration on how each informs the other and offer guided instruction to each participant as they develop their own ideas and techniques.
This session will take place within the gallery and break for a light lunch. Tea / coffee is included. Please advise of any dietary requirements.
Please bring all your own materials.
