Miklos Varadi-Beothy creates mixed-media sculptures from stone, metal, and wood that bridge the line between the mythic and the material, in this new exhibition Mainly Little Things.
Drawing inspiration from the natural world—its animals, plants, and lingering folkloric echoes—his practice merges traditional blacksmithing techniques with resourceful making, grounding fantasy in the tangible, fragile beauty of nature.
Conservation functions as both material choice and message: discarded elements are transformed into symbols of resilience and renewal, offering quiet reflections on humanity’s relationship with the environment.
Through fire, hammer, and imagination, Varadi-Beothy reveals the hidden potential of the overlooked, inviting viewers to reconsider what they value and choose to protect.
