Forestville War Memorial Playing Fields is a multi-use facility (including Melwood Oval).

The fields are numbered as:

• Field 1 and Field 2 - Synthetic fields
• Field 3 - Small grass field (off-leash dog area - see below)
• Netball Courts 1-6
• Field 6 - Rugby field on upper level

Synthetic Sportsfields

The synthetic sportsfields deliver premier all-weather facilities. 

This first class regional facility caters for most sports including a combination football/Rugby Union field with permanent line marking for both sports, a dedicated football field, a full size AFL field, senior cricket field, Oz-tag, touch football and many other sports. The facility also provides four new cricket nets and a centre cricket wicket that is covered during the winter season.

Off-leash dog area

There are two off leash dog areas in this location.  Field 3 is a restricted off-leash dog area from 10pm - 8am weekdays and 10pm -7am weekends. There is also a fenced off-leash unrestricted dog exercise area, enter from Forestville Avenue. 

Dogs are not allowed on the synthetic sportsfield.
