Just off The Serpentine at Bilgola Beach is the Bilgola North Headland.

North Bilgola Headland provides for areas of high conservation value. These areas provide important linkages to other remnant patches of bushland allowing for fauna movement through the local landscape.

Vegetation

The vegetation community within this area is Coastal Headland Heath and contains a mix of tall shrubs and ground covers.

The dominant species include Alocasurina distyla, Banksia integrifolia, Leptospermum lavigatum and Westringia fruitocosa.
