Currawong offers you a uniquely secluded experience because it can only be accessed by water.

Take a 25-minute ferry ride from Palm Beach Wharf on Barrenjoey Road, or book the barge or water taxi.

If you are arriving by boat please book in advance one of the two slip ropes (for smaller boats) or the deep water mooring.

What to bring

Currawong is self-catered and has no shops so please bring your own supplies, linen and towels.

Linen can be available upon request (for a fee) when booking but we recommend bring your own. Provision of linen is dependent upon water availability and we cannot guarantee it can be provided. Beds occupied without the use of bed linen will incur a washing charge.

Pack your sports equipment too as we’ve only a limited choice to loan. Bring a good torch as it gets very dark at night.

There’s mobile phone coverage but no television or radio.

Things you should know

Please be mindful of other guests and keep noise to a minimum, especially after 10.30pm noise curfew. No loud music at any time.

Accommodation must be left clean and tidy on departure. If no attempt is made to tidy after your stay, a cleaning fee may be applicable.

As Currawong is located in a bushland setting, there can be ticks about so it is wise to bring insect repellent and be aware of the recommended tick removal methods.
