From workshops and seminars to resources and advice, Council has resources and programs available to help parents and carers navigate the complex and ever changing world of their teenagers.
The Parent Workshop
If you’re looking for ways to help you learn more about your teen and how to stay connected with them then this program is for you. The program encourages you to gain greater self-awareness, self-confidence and resilience in managing your own emotions while helping your teen to do the same.
The Parent Workshop comprises six sessions and is run through the Manly Adolescent and Family Counselling Service (email).
Come to a speakers’ night and hear local and international speakers provide up to date information and ideas related to parenting young people. Previous topics have included HSC, alcohol and other drugs, and technology.
