Ged	We're garbage collectors on the Northern Beaches. As you know, there's a new garbage service starting across the whole of the Northern Beaches from July 1. With this service, there's going to be a delivery of brand-new bins.
Tony	By giving this bin now, Council is avoiding costs of around $1.2 million.
Will	That's because all our old bins are very expensive to replace when they're broken. The good news is the old bins will be 100% recycled.
Ged	This is a massive job which is going to take a few months to complete.
Tony	We're here to help you understand what you need to know. It's so simple, even these work colleagues of mine will be able to help you.
Will	These are the four new bins you'll receive from Council. If you need an extra vegetation bin, Council will deliver it for you free. You'll receive your new bins in two separate deliveries. Your new bins will have bin tags explaining you how to use them.
Ged	Don't start to use your new bins yet. Continue to use your old bins. Put out your old bins on your usual collection day. Leave your emptied old bins on the street, preferably next to the kerb. These bins will be collected in a few days time. Please do not put anything else into these bins. Leave them empty. Start to use your new bins. And just repeat this process the following week with your other recycling bin. And don't forget, as much as we love emptying your bins, we'd love to see less put in.
