If you’re a local creative keen for a new adventure, now's the time to put your name forward for the 2026 Artist in Residence programme. This is a golden chance to build your portfolio, make fresh connections, and further your practice.

Running from March to August 2026, the residency comes with a six-month studio space at Eramboo in Terrey Hills, plus a handy $3,000 allowance to help cover materials and community projects. It’s a brilliant setting to dive into new ideas and get involved with the buzzing arts community.

The Council’s backing means more than just studio space – it’s all about championing your artistic growth, helping you level up professionally, and making real connections with locals through workshops, masterclasses, or other creative events. You’ll be challenged to produce something special for the public, whether that’s an exhibition, performance, or even a pop-up piece for everyone to enjoy.

If you’re ready to create, collaborate, and be part of celebrating the vibrant local arts scene, don’t miss out. Applications wrap up on Friday 14 November 2025, so check out the Northern Beaches Council website for details, examples from past artists, and how to throw your hat in the ring.
