  • Some locals have shared their appreciation for Library2U with notes

Wednesday, 14 July 2021

Thousands of locals like you are feeling a little bit brighter during our stay-at-home orders thanks to our Library2U delivery service, which was brought back online at the beginning of this lockdown.

With the chilly weather, there’s nothing better than cosying up with a good book at home – and lots of our community seem to agree.

Here’s a small snippet of the great feedback we’re getting:

“OMG, I was so thrilled to have the book delivered to my home this afternoon. THANK YOU, you have absolutely made my day!!! Keep up the awesome work :-) Can't wait to start reading over the weekend.”

“Thank you! Our son was thrilled to find a surprise book delivery of the next Wings of Fire instalment on our front porch today! You’ve brightened our day!”

“I just received a book I ordered only a couple of days ago….delivered to my door! I am thrilled with this service. I was quite prepared to wait to collect my books after the lockdown. What a fantastic service! Thanks library angels.”

Have you used our Library2U service yet? You can borrow an item of your choice or for something a bit more fun, try Librarian’s Choice. Tell us your preferred genre or what you’re interested in and let our librarians choose for you. If anyone knows books and movies, it’s our librarians so let the experts pick something especially for you.

To use the service, download the Library app or visit our website. The Library app is a great way to keep track of your loans, renew items, browse the eLibrary and much more.

Please note, you must live in the Northern Beaches Local Government Area and be a current Library member to borrow.
