Libraries

Access to the library 24/7 will be available to the public in a trial kicking off Monday 29 August at our Forestville Library branch.

This trial is breaking ground for public libraries in Australia, and we’re excited to be opening up our service after hours to the local community.

Libraries are changing – they’re not just books - they’re safe, welcoming public spaces with access to modern digital services. This trial is another step towards our libraries becoming accessible community hubs, reflecting our community’s changing lifestyle.

A quick site induction is required to activate your access. To join the trial book your induction online, phone Forestville library on 8495 5025 or speak to library staff.

For more information visit the Forestville 24/7 web page.
